Digby Dog Teddy Bear by Merrythought
Meet Digby, a traditional British-made teddy bear with oodles of character. This expressive little dog will be a loyal companion and a treasured keepsake for years to come.
Carefully crafted from sandy-gold and truffle coloured natural mohair, he features endearing lop-sided ears, one pricked upwards and the other folded. With a finely hand-embroidered nose and smile, along with a happy, upturned tail, he is a truly charming little fellow.
Mohair, known as the 'diamond fibre' for its lustre and resilience, is the silky-soft fleece shorn from the Angora goat and is the traditional fibre used in making the finest teddy bears, as it's very soft yet extremely hardwearing.
Digby is CE-marked and made to European and US product safety standards, which includes standard EN71-part 2 Flammability. Safety-tested and suitable for children, although it is advised that any accessories (such as labels, ribbons, clothing) be removed before giving to small children.
